A home in Ord; by the sea on The Isle of Skye

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The Hirsel offers a holiday cottage in Ord. The property includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Enjoy a garden, terrace, and free WiFi. The Hirsel features an outdoor seating area, family rooms and free on-site parking. In the kitchen you will find a gas hob, fridge, dishwasher and kitchenware. The Hirsel also offers a washing machine and a flat-screen TV with streaming services.

We have two bedrooms; one en-suite and another offering a separate bathroom next to the bedroom.

The king sized bedroom offers the option to accommodate a fold-able single bed when required.

Guests can enjoy a garden, terrace, and free WiFi. 

The entire property is exclusively available.

The rear courtyard area is a shared space; but is not needed for access. The Hirsel has dedicated front door access.

The entire unit is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible; via the courtyard.

Dave and Emma are available in the property next door for any queries.

Ord is accessed via a single track road, keep a lookout for the signposted “passing places” and be prepared to wait for oncoming traffic. Please take care and be aware that you may come across sheep and cows on the road.

Ord is known for its lovely beach and spectacular views across Loch Eishort to the stunning Cuillin Hills. The beach is just a two minute walk from the cottage and there are walks along the shore and cliffs from the village.

The Hirsel is a thirty minutes drive from the nearest supermarket; so please ensure that you bring along any provisions that you may need for your stay. There are Co-Op supermarkets in Kyle of Lochalsh, Broadford and Portree and a Morrisons in Fort William. There are no shops or restaurants in Ord itself.

Of course, the cottage is fully equipped for self-catering.
