We were extremely well welcomed by Emma and Dave. Our stay was wonderful. We arrived on Christmas Day and they surprised us with gifts for my daughter, chocolates, and mince pies for the whole family. The view from the house is amazing and made our stay even more special. The house is comfortable and has everything you need. I highly recommend staying there. Our experience was wonderful.
Best accomodation on skye
Everything. House is complete with all you need plus more. The view is outstanding. Beach 5 min walk away is perfect. Host is the best. 30 mins drive to nearest store so prepare for that.
Incredible!
Amazing! We would've happily stayed here forever, the accommodation was so comfortable and warm and homey, with incredible views out the front windows. We absolutely loved it and we were very sad to leave.

Your cottage at *The Hirsel of Skye* is absolutely stunning! The spectacular views of the lake are breathtaking, and the superb furnishings make it feel like a luxury retreat. 6 stars out of 5! We loved every moment spent here, from relaxing in the tastefully furnished interiors to stepping outside into the serene natural surroundings where you can spot visiting sheep at close proximity. The attention to detail inside the cottage is extremely cozy reflecting Scottish hospitality at the highest order. It's been the perfect base for our stay. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us – we'll cherish the memories forever! The location is idyllic, and we feel so lucky to have experienced it. Not to mention the extremely hospitable hosts, Dave & Emma.

Wonderful, cozy cottage, with incredible views of Skye!
Beautiful surroundings and view of Skye in a great location. All the accommodations were top notch and Emma the host was so incredibly kind. She had prepared multiple items like a highchair, tummy-time mat, and an infant bath that made our stay so easy. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and preparing meals. I’d highly recommend staying here!

So clean and comfortable. The view is great and the place is quiet. The hosts are very friendly and ready to help. We actually saw a stag on the road on the way to the house, which was a unique and one of a kind experience for us. We totally recomend The Hirsel on Skye 😊

Absolutely EVERYTHING. The charming location, waking up to the sheep at the window, the carefully crafted autumnal decor, the overall ambiance of the place and the warm atmosphere!
